I went nuts on a bunch of earlier sketches with some ink. Still not quite sure how I want to colour these suckers…

Done shortly after I saw The Producers for the first time. Absentmindedly humming Springtime for Hitler while surrounded by senior citizens is never a good thing. Still working on the colouring for this one…

This one doesn’t have a punchline, it’s just a random observational journaley-comic. My dad looks like Santa Claus!

Still playing with tones and colours on this one. In my defense, I was about 11 or 12 here, and it was the first time I’d ever seen breasts in a comic book.

Aw man, I love this movie. This was for a sci-fi prompt, which is stretching it a bit, but what the hell!

More school sketches before I go away for the weekend. For the first one, we had to design some kind of alien vehicle. It turned into some sort of domed city being transported through space Discworld-style by some kind of bug critter. The second one is a bunch of mythical creatures, in this case a Ha-Inu, Pooka (I don’t draw horses much, can you tell?) and Baba Yaga’s house.

Look out world, I’m on the BLOGOSPHERE oh god that word is so ridiculous!

Anyway… This was part of a goofy assignment for Life Drawing - we were given a bunch of prompts that we had to respond to with a 15-minute sketch. The first prompt was ‘draw yourself as a Pokemon’. I came out as some kind of weird rabbity-kangaroo thingy.
